CADOGAN CAFE – HOSPITALITY

The Cadogan Estate commissioned an architectural competition which was won by Nex-Architecture to design a new restaurant/café in Chelsea that replaced the existing café.

The result is a striking spiral café wrapped in concrete panels with curved windows that can retract fully when the weather is good, allowing the dining area to spill out into the surrounding square. It also features a stunning rooftop garden that is accessible to anyone.

EM Tecnica developed and implemented the full scope of MEP services design in order to meet the required BREEAM excellent rating. Services provisions include the main public areas being naturally ventilated with underfloor heating and cooling.
