Spring is a new restaurant for Skye Gyngell, an Australian chef who is best known for her work as a food editor for Vogue, and for winning a Michelin star at the Petersham Nurseries Café. The restaurant is located at Somerset House – a Grade I listed building – and the integration of the MEP services into the building fabric was therefore a major design challenge. Most of the services are routed through the floor voids and cooling units are concealed in wall and furniture voids. Lighting design was by our related practice Paul Nulty Lighting Design.
